A handy guide to help you decide what size cake you need!
Deciding what size cake you need can be very difficult.
Everyone has their own idea of what size a slice of cake should be. Pop into a cafe and you are served an enormous doorstep wedge, but go to a wedding reception and you are greeted with a dainty little finger slice. Different circumstances require different sized cake portions...which makes the question "what size cake do I need for 50 people?" quite hard!
Let me make it easy for you.
I have created a visual guide below to show you the portion sizes you will get from both my sandwich cakes and my tall cakes. So it will help you know how much cake you need!

My TALL cakes have 4 lovely layers of sponge sandwiched with buttercream...and depending on the flavour you choose homemade jam, salted caramel or lemon curd too!

Need a bigger cake?
The TALL cake used in the example is 6" wide, but comes in a range of different sizes.
